I agree 100% Charlie! A couple of weeks ago I expressed this very point on this bb... which was roundly poo-poo'ed by some of the posters who are now taking the opposite view in favor of your position. Several roulette collectors know of my penchant for obtaining roulette chips with the edge inserts at the 12:00 o'clock and 6:00 o'clock position. I have matched sets of every color from every table in which every chip has this characteristic as far as insert position goes. If/when I see a chip illustrated on ebay with the edge inserts at 12 and 6, that's the chip I expect to receive if I am the successful bidder. I should not have to email the seller to confirm if that is the chip I will receive. That is the chip he/she is offering to sell as far as I'm concerned.... and that's the chip I bid on. I don't want a replacement. I want the one I bid on. It has nothing to do with grade or condition. It has everything to do with purchasing something as offered. The double-speak crowd will say "if you saw a car advertisement in a magazine, do you expect to receive the exact car that is depicted in the ad?" I think we all know the difference. If that is the car that is offered on ebay..... yes, that's the one I expect to receive.
