Only use scans of the item being auctioned

I've read the thread on this issue. I understand that it may be a hassle to provide a scan of a chip. However, as a buyer I rely on the scan to determine if I want a particular chip or not. If the scan is not of the chip that is being offered, it should be clearly stated in the description of the item. Even you believe that you providing a chip in better condition than one in the scan, it is not fair to the buyer because you do not know what are the buyer's interests. Maybe I only collect chips that were actually used on the tables, I want to see some dirt in the mold. Considering that, in must cases, a chip of lesser quality than the one in the scan would be substituted, I would vote that only the actual scan of item being auctioned should ever be used.
