Aberdeen chip goes for $152.50

Just another reminder that when people offer to pay a sum if you "delist" your auction on eBay that you will most likely do better by leaving it on and letting nature take it's course.
As you know,I was offered $100 if I closed my auction early. I have to admit that it was a good offer, but I wouldn't do it out of principle and got lucky.
This is the third or 4th time,in the past few years that this has happened. Each time I turned it down and each time the item went for more than what was offered. One time,it was an offer of $450 for a bakelite radio which eventually sold for nearly $950!
After reading the article about that SHOWBOAT chip which sold last week, and reading that she was offered substantially less than what it finally sold for by at least two people,it kind of leads me to believe that when you put an item on an auction...you probably should leave it at auction.
And to the member who said that I would get less than $50 for it: I sure do wish that you would have accepted my wager. vbg
