To answer your question Paul, I also reuse some scans. I always check to make certain that the chip I am selling is in at least as good of condition as the one scanned. Sometimes one chip has a little more dirt than another but condition wise they are the same. If you don't sell on eBay you probably don't know how much time it takes to scan a chip, save it, load it onto your web site, devise an advertisement, review the ad, check the scan, answer e-mail, send a letter at the end of an auction, process the check when it arrives and send out the chip. All for maybe a $1 profit on a common chip. I only sell chips to get rid of extras that I have so that I can buy more chips. When the opportunity presents itself (such as at a flea market), I feel that it is better to pick up the extra chips just to get them into the hands of collectors. Sometimes the only way to get rid of them is through eBay.
