As you know, the Jockey Club attribution is somewhat less than total and while this chip looks similar to that of the Beverly,all we really know that the hourglass chips were made by Rigdon & Company in Cincinnati, thus supporting the Jockey Club claim. The Jockey Club was located at E. Riverside Drive in Newport and we have documented what it operated from 1956-1964, consistant with the time Rigdon shipped chips to other Newport joints (Beverly, Flamingo, Stardust, 633, Latin Quarter, Stardust, Yorkshire and the Kid Able Club.

Bottom line I'd consider the yellow chip as authentic as the grey one...possible but not authenticated.
