In the article: "THE BUNNY ROLLS THE DICE, Playboy's gamble on the future of gambling" on page 34 of the Premier Edition (1979) of "CHIPS" magazine, is a picture of a Playboy croupier who is standing behind a table at the Playboy operation at the Ambassador Beach Hotel on Cable Beach. She's standing directly behind the float where visible from left to right (hers) is one row of $1 chips, PLB-1; 3 rows of $5 chips, PLB-5; four rows of what appear to be black $100 chips (can anyone read the denom? They do not look like the 25's since all other colors look true), w/ 6-1/4" inserts (with the 2nd and 3rd row topped off w/ the 50¢ chips)... and rows 9, 10 and 11 are filled with what appears to be "MAROONISH-BROWN" w/ 3 mustard (same size inserts as PLB-5) chips... and in the 12th row appears to be white and black chips (too obscure to tell if they're PLB-100b, but probably are). Nowhere in the float do I see $25 chips... and yet on page 32 is a huge picture of the 25's, 1's, 5's and the PLB-100s'a (nice shot of the dice, too).
QUESTION: Could the chips in rows 9 thru 11 be the $500 "backup" chips; PLB-500a...?
