I guess you see where it got the hobby.
Yes you are right we did release low #'s of chips at the opera house.
I think we did 500 Chips per $5 chip.
I barely got any of the chips. I think I sold them for $7 each for the once I did have.
We had a new issue list so we made it easy for the dealers like your buddy chuck.
They would just give there reqyest of what they need and it would be sitting for them in a Zip lock back at the cage.
Tropicana , New Alladdin , Four Queens , Riviera they all did the same thing.
Any dealer who wanted to be on there was on there.
I know we had like 26 people we made bags for each month including :
Pete Rizzo , Josh Shore , Andy Hughes , Dave from Cheques , Steve Cutler , I can't remember the rest top of my head.
We even had a guy from out of town that we mailed every month 5 $5 LE chips. Keving Mahoney decided he wanted to do that.
So I think that program was run fair. And we kept 20% of each issue to be sold at the cage with no list.
Have you seen the opera house. Its a Small North Las Vegas Casino which did not have much demand.
At least you can take some opera house chips and they will sell at $7 8 9 or even $10 each.
Do you want me to issue 1000's of chips and store them all at the cage and they will be worthless.
We did the #'s that we could move. Its a business for the casino. One of their main concerns was that chips will be left at the cage or turned in.
I woulda loved to issue 1000 or 2000 of each chips. Because I was getting paid a percentage of face value of the chips.
But the truth is that there is no market for that. They only place you can issue 1000 or more is on a strip casino because Tourists ( new Collectors would buy them )
Anyways not much point in arguing. You still believe the sky is read and will say no matter what to make yourself believe the sky is red.
I guess it just makes you feel better that way.
And its okay.
