First act of your Convention is to register at the Riviera. Since you're already preregistered your first step is to simply pick up your registration pack. Head for the Riviera convention area located in the eastern part of the Riv just adjacent to the parking facility entrance. You shouldn't have too much difficulty finding signage to the
activities and registration pick-up should be so designated. Once you have your pre-reg material in hand you'll want to check it out and make sure everything is included that you've paid for. Check for tourney info and banquet tickets. Make sure they have
your name on everything!
Included in the pack will be a very important nametag that you hang around your neck during club activities. This nametag will let you enter not only the trade sessions but the seminars and most important, the borse floor! Never a bad idea to have your current membership card at hand also.
I haven't looked at the schedule but in the past the trade sessions just seemed to be going on throughout the day. The location of all the convention thingies is going to be in same area you've just picked up your creditials. Just look for a sign, ask one of the registration volunteers or any chipper-looking passerby. The banquet is going to be at "The Top of The Riv" this year I believe. That takes a little hunting to find, the "Penthouse" elevator ride in one of the room towers which takes you to a spectacular location with a primo view of The Strip. Feller asked me where the banquet was one year and I said I'm headed there, come with me. Said his name was Ralph Pollack. Yeah, what do you collect Ralph? Turns out Ralph collects that Carribean stuff.
The convention is easy Tom. We're going to have fun again, no problem.
