on the surface, it sure is a great idea, however, the logistics are a bit tough if it were the rule rather the exception. Not all mailings will result in positive sign-ups. So mailing costs are big for a magazine. Also, additional copies would need to be printed and shipped (to me). To do so with a modest few is OK, but to have a large supply, again drives up costs. Then what to do with the times that a recipient opts to join the Club and the Membership Officer is obligated to send a past issue with a membership card. An effort would have to be made to not send a duplicate.
While I do have a couple of extras for mailing out purposes, right now I am trying to keep mailings the same and go to the big gun if it looks like it would make the difference.
But bottom line, I agree with your comment, "Best item to send is the Club's magazine!"
