Today I was asked to write some newbie tips pertaining to the convention and in particular to a first timer to the convention.

Since there are so many great ideas and to be absolutely honest, I really dont have time this weekend to write anything formal, I thought I would take this to the board as part of a Guest Speaker program.

So I am asking the regular chipboard posters to post thier thoughts ideas and suggestions under each of the topics I post today and give advice from your own experiences in order to help other first timers enjoy the convention to the fullest.

Question #4 - What are the dont miss events of the convention

Lets see some tips and suggestions that you guys use when attending the convention like are the most important things the Banquet, The Palms earlybird, and the Auction, or are there other events you like more, etc......
