Though the CEP and design on the pieces are unknown
to researchers and catalogers, we do know this type
of filigreed overlay inlay was produced from 1925 to
1930. Other than a complete series of this type
inlay being made for Societé des Bains de Mer
in Monaco (and the CEP material), there have been a
few other jetons and plaques found through the years
having this type of inlay, but most have thus far
not been attributed to any casino.
See Chequers Magazine (Benedict) "Gaming Chips &
Plaques of the World" where a quick reference guide
indentifies the different types of gaming pieces
produced in the last 100-years.
