I said it was a silly question; I was being serious to a point.

If there was indeed lead in BP chips, they should be dug up and destroyed since they could be causing serious health related issues.

If not, they should be dug up by the city and sold off with the proceeds going to help the city.

I’m sure there would be many volunteers who would help out with the dig, think about the relevant history of the dig or what else might be found on site buried in the ground.
