As you know, TR King made some movie prop chips during it's history in Las Angeles. Finally spotted the chip a couple of years ago watching the TV show, 77 Sunset Strip. In a '58 episode, “The Bouncing Chip” a villain named Frenchy LaTour was counterfeiting $100 chips from the Meteor Casino in Las Vegas. These were the chips. Meteor or comet, don't let 'em hit you.
