Really though, I am a programmer (or 'computer programmer' to those outside the computer fiedld) and it is very obvious to me that computers are going to continue to become more and more involved in most areas of life, which may include taking over certain areas of our life. That is partly because it just makes so much sense, from the management side regarding efficiancies, productivity, and fatigue, etc...How many times is a computer going to steal cash from the company or call in sick, or fall asleep while surfing the web on the clock?
Some people say computers are putting people out of jobs, but really they are just creating different jobs, programming jobs! Keep me in business!
Speaking of comupters, I just finished 1 week of Microsoft seminars here in sunny Orlando! I got lots of great software and other freebies. Can't wait to rebuild my hobby/chip sites in the new Visual Studio 2008!
