The electronic tables are not new to the UK, we've had them nearly 10 years now.
Ive also seen them evolve in Vegas, Ive talked to players, and also suppliers and buyers at gaming expo's.

Most serious players do not like to play the machines and only do so as a last resort if they cant get on a table. They want to play with chips (or cash) or they dont play.

The electronic tables allow more people to play in a smaller area, that is the key. They are being installed as replacements for slot machines, not tanles. They also allow you to play at far lower minimums than would be economical to allow at a live table. The majority of people playing them are, for want of a better expression, the 'little old ladies', i.e. players that would never play at the live tables.

In my opinion they will have no impact on the existence of table games and chips yet they will still increase casino revenue.
