The Sargent-at-arms of our local chapter is still using an 8088. I tried to give him an updated member list on a 3 1/2" floppy at our last meeting, he told me he needed it on a double density 5 1/4" floppy! I about dropped my teeth! I don't have access to a machine that will write to a DD 5 1/4"!
A question about the 256 Meg RAM in your future new 'puter. I've been told that anything over 128 Meg RAM actually slows down Windows operating systems, because the way Windows is written, it caches RAM over 128 Meg.
