I respect your opinion Doug and
agree you should be able to open and run a business by your rules but is it the only bar in town? The casino industry is so far away from what you discribe. (private business) They are a public venue owned by the stockholders and as a whole they are the only one in town as a group. I still believe that it would not be happening if the majority of the "customers" were not putting pressure on the people running the show. (government) Back way back when it was a fifty fifty ratio of non v smokers it was proven that one casino could not break from the crowd and go "Non-Smoking" (think Puffless Petes) I think today it would work but you can not convince "higher management" to take the chance. The exception to this is "Bills" in Lake Tahoe. I don't think they have had to close yet but then again it is just a small piece of "Harrahs" up there. I don't think we should make this a us against them type of thing but it seems like that is the way it is going to be.
