Perhaps you should contact your local papers?

The fact is, that given the base of chip collectors (3000 members in CC & GTCC and not all members collect or are interested in A.C. chips) and the huge numbers of chips found in the Hernando pit (estimated to be around 30,000 to 50,000) there is no way that this number of chips will ever be considered again to be scarce, much less 'rare'. Quite the contrary.

By current hobby standards this number of chips now available, coupled with the number of chips that were removed from the casino by collectors when they were in play, now puts them into the common category with few exceptions. sad

Maybe when (as another poster speculated) the hobby grows to a million collectors (or even 100,000), these chips might be in demand at higher prices once again.

Good luck with your promotion efforts.
