The Featured Auction does cost $99.99 and does appear on the home page of ebay,But this is a featured category auction which only costs $14.99 and is displayed on the first page of the category. I use these as way to get more hits on my web site and share the expense with a friend. If I make a profit ok if not I just like to break near even. The more exciting the item the more hits!
