Its $19.95 to make an auction a featured auction, not $$99.95. The eBay commisssion scale is a sliding scale, the higher selling price, the lower commission on larger monitary numbers. They might charge you $5 commission on a $100 sale, but the commission percentage drops from that point in increments.
Bennie probably figured his minimum at real close to what he has invested in the chip including the eBay commissions. He won't make any money on it, but if it sells for $35 over face, it should be about a break-even sale overall.
He might lose all the listing and commission fees to a zero rated winning bidder who doesn't actually buy the chip. Buying a chip of that value to resell at auction this soon after its release is not something I would have done. I've heard that the Luxor will be destroying these chips sometime in the near future, but I only know of one collector who has bought one to keep for his collection.
