Giving you the benefit of the doubt (I'll assume that you actually have one $25 Playboy chip, a gift from your Dad) I can tell you that the chip is redeemable for $25 at the NJ Gaming Commission office. At the present time, its value to a collector is in flux, and probably will stay that way for some time to come.
But the greater question is, since the chip was a gift from your Father, and you've kept it as a "lucky charm" it seems that the intrinsic sentimental value far out-weighs the monetary value, so what difference does the monetary value make in your case?
