Blaster states/asks:
"Back in college in the early '80's, I had gone to Studio 54 in NYC a few times, & on certian nights they used to give out $5 "Drink Chips" to VIP's, & I believe sell them to customers as well for drink purchases ... Some bars were "chips Only" in the club ...
I kept one of these .......
Back in the 90's, I had mentioned the chip to someone who seemed to know about them & thought that none had survived, & he had offered me $50 for it.
If anyone has any info on current value & any other general information I would love to know ...
The Mold Has Elephants & Joker Hats alternating around, & the green chip seems to be gold foil stamped , on 1 side with the Studio 54 Logo (w/the word studio above the 4) , & the other side is" $5 " in the studio 54 font style ....."
Anyone here have any information?
