While making this post, I'll also express my heartfelt gratitude at the warm and informative reception given you by other members here on TheChipBoard. While you and I have exchanged occassional PM's over on ChipTalk for the past several months, it wasn't until yesterday and today that things came together in such a fashion that you are now a member of the and owner of some local heritage illegal chips due in part because the message board(s) on ChipTalk include a "home location" identifier. You used the space to show a ZIP Code, which I looked up and found it to be "Ft. Lee".
Being a collector of all chips, I was familiar with the George Washington Bridge chip (having found one in flae market here in Tucson) from the Riviera Club and asked if Tony was familiar with it and illegal gaming history in Ft. Lee. When he asked for more details I told him to post on TheChipBoard and stand back! Man, I love it when a plan comes together!!!
So, my thanks to Barry H., Ed Hertel, Michael Siskin, Jim Episale, Bill Romano and Ralph Myers for the welcome given to Anthony Papavasiliou (aka: TonyPap). And my thanks also to TonyPap for using me as his referal to the !
Respectfully,
Jim Follis
