which covers old gas pumps in the upper right foreground could be a new casino called the COD. Named for the C.O.D. (Clarence Oliver Dangberg) garage which has been there for 96 years it still needs to get approval. The original family owners want to keep a part of the casino for a museum of their history in the Carson Valley. The Minden Inn was also a Hospital at one time where my departed neighbor Dr. Pasik delivered babies. He also traveled to Bodie California (current ghost town) as a doctor. My current neighbor Gene Pasik (Dr.'s son) was born in the room our county manager currently occupies.....Doug
