This is what Hawaii's looked like...

Back in the 60's & 70's we had these Ballys nickel machines that were illegal and usually located in pool halls. You kept putting nickels in to get the maximum payout and started with five balls. You would put in more nickels if you wanted an extra ball. The police would constantly "raid" these joints.
