I'm looking at a new digital camera. The Kodak DC280 zoom has been recommended. Don't really know what features to look for. This camera has a high resolution of 1760 x 1168, and a standard resolution of 896 x 592. It has an f3 Wide angle and a f3.8 telephoto. Close up to .82 feet. Has both optical and digital settings, have no idea what this means.

Any help appreciated.
