Yes, Pete (and everyone else who has pointed it out) no matter what you bet, whatever combination, or cover areas, rows, columns, splits... whatever! The house odds are the same. Exception is the five number bet, which should be avoided. They always have a 5.26% advantage on a zero - double zero "American" wheel.
If that wasn't enough, in the old days, someone had a wheel that included an Eagle, which in effect bosted the house odds and could be looked at as the triple zero spot.
You can make any bet on the roulette table from one number to 38 numbers and the odds are always the same. Imagine playing every number on the wheel. You bet 38 chips, you win 36 + the one you bet... 5.26%!
