The media? The media is not responsible for raising gas prices, they are not responsible for starting and continuing (with no intention to end) a war that is a lie and a war that has nothing to do with 9/11. Iraq didn't attack us on 9/11. Oil didn't attack us on 9/11. We are not in Iraq to help the people of Iraq, that is just the perfect cover story to sell the war to enough Americans to make it happen. Why don't we offer our 'help' to the other countris that need it more than Iraq? Because there is nothing to gain from their country? That is the real reason. The first objective is to secure tons of oil in Iraq. That has nothing to do with themedia and themedia never told me that.

BTW, these silly refund checks are a joke, where is that money coming from? Just another irresponsible use of money the government does not have available to spend. Really folks, if $600 is going to make the difference for you than you are just fine without it.

Anyway, I do agree that we have a ton to be thankful for and it is easy to take that for granted. My point is that why when everything is at its worse do we sweep it under the rug and say why don't we be thankful for the good stuff we still have? We can be thankful for the good while also focusing on how to fix what Bush broke. We have had those things mentioned for a long time, when things were even better. There is nothing bratty about trying to fix what we know could be better and has been better.

Nice try, but I think it is very wrong to blame the problems bush has started years ago on the very recent Dem congress. Bush is still in office which means the Dem congress is trying to rebuild the country with their hands tied behind their backs. Counter-productive until Bush is out.

Everything currently wrong has been declining since the Rep congress. Sad bud true. Let FOX Spin it around 10 times but it is still true.

Last thought: How can you prove that Bush has protected us from a single attack? Just because it didn't happen doesn't mean it was going to happen and it was prevented. It always amazes me when people say he protects us from attacks. We have little to no border security which means he isn't stopping anyone from attacking us. I believe we haven't been attacked because people havn't decided to do it yet.
