I posted an add here about a month ago, and quite a number of people responded and sent American casino chips, in exchange for chips from Namibia / Southern Africa. (Thank you very much for all those chips, most of them in excellent condition! I had not expected such a response!)

Some of the people however queried why they hadn´t received an answer. In this regard, I would just like to advise that several chip collectors sent chips by "snail mail" an did not opt for airmail or even registered airmail. An airmail letter takes 7 to 15 days from the USA to Namibia, all other mail takes about 1 month!

Those past few days I have therefore been receiving mail dated 13 February, 19 February etc. Please rest assured that all mail will be answered, and everyone will receive his or her chips. Please, in future, use airmail, then the whole process will be quicker.

The offer still stands: Anyone interested in chips from Southern Africa can send me a couple of chips from the USA (please, not too many), and will receive more or less an equivalent number or value in return from Namibia.
