It is because you make a mockery out of our membership and our hobby.
You came on this board several weeks ago and have constantly tried to hype your so called "Rare" Plaques on this board, The Club Board and even emailed all the BOD's to give you hints on selling.
Well, here is my hint...... Give it a rest.
Let me tell you how I and most of the rest of the board see you and your chips:
You originally offered these to several members for $300
You then listed them on Ebay with a starting bid of $1000
When questioned you thought you would prove us all wrong by having your friends bid on your plaques
4 Bidders placed bids, 3 of which had no feedback whatsoever
Amazingly enough those same bidders without feedback have never bid on another item, not even one.
Somehow they all choose your plaque to be the one and only thing that they ever bought on Ebay
The supposed winning bidder has since not placed one bid on any other item
You then relisted the plaques with a starting bid of $250 (Probably because you never really sold one for $1075)
Amazingly enough there is not one bid at $250 even though there were 4 bidders willing to pay over $1000
Coincidence? Bizare freak accident?
Do you really think we are stupid?
Believe it or not, we are a closely knit group of collectors that watch out for each other. Many of us have been collecting since you were still having your diapers changed. Many of us have forgotten more about collecting chips and plaques than you will ever learn.
I know you find this hard to believe but there are only a handful of collectors in the world that would pay over $1000 for a plaque (ANY PLAQUE) and several people here on the board know them all.
Somehow not one, but four of these exceedingly rare people came out of the darkness to bid on your plaque alone and we dont know any of them.
A hard story to swallow.
I will leave the others to thier better judgement but I thought I would introduce the facts as I see them.
I myself wouldnt touch those plaques at that price with a 10 foot pole.
Now I will end my post and you can go on to call me names and tell me that I am just jealous of your plaque because I cant afford it.
