From time to time I will have a similar situation, but it is up to down, not left to right. What happens is, I'll read a post and go back to the Index page. Once the page has been re-drawn, I'll go to click a subject thread and when I do, the page shifts down about 2 and 1/2 subjects lines and I end up clicking black space. To correct the problem, I need only scroll the page up or down by abut one subject line and then I don't get the shift.

Does not happen all that much, has happened on several different computers and haven't been bothered enough to worry about it.
