Hi All,
I am doing a little research. I live in the Hudson valley of NY. It is beautiful here......spring summer and fall. I want to begin the process of finding a place to snowbird to. Not too big on Florida. I am thinking AZ might be a good fit, but I don't know much about it.
One thing I do know, I don't want to see any snow, lol. Plus I figure I am most of the way to LV there!

I have been poking around online, looking at places like Scottsdale and Gilbert. I like to be within striking distace (30 miles or so) of good sized towns (my wife is a fitness trainer and a gym rat and will need access to a good gym), but I also like space. I do a fair amount of fishing, canoeing, hiking etc.

Any input? Any areas in AZ I should be looking at? My game plan is to take a trip out there next year in the winter and spend some time looking around.

Any suggestions, intel, greatly appreciated........
