Scott, that is like walking on to the floor of the convention looking to buy a $1 chip but with no idea which chip you want.

The selection is mind boggling.

You need to narrow it down. What kind of food (NY has EVERY kind, and great and bad examples every kind too) and where in NY will you be (East Side, West Side, Uptown, Downtown, Brooklyn etc.). And, just as important, what is your budget?

If you narrow it down a bit, I could make a good recommendation.
