I have one e-mail from a well-known Canadian collector saying that he has never seen the 1$ chip prior to me first posting it (and asked if he could use my scan on his site).. and saying that it's next to impossible to find one... but this was about two years ago.

This is the type of valuable information I use to help determine if a chip is rare.

He knew of a 2.50$ example, though.
