Lets do the math.

What does the Convention space cost at the Riviera's normal rate in June?
(or what will it cost next year if we don't fill the alotted rooms)

Let's say it's $20,000 and we need to book 675 room nights.
That means if I book 1 night at the Riviera I am contributing $29.62 towards the convention space.
4 nights = $118.48.

Las Vegas locals pay nothing, they are getting the space comped by those staying at the Riviera.

If the club has to pay for the space next year the admission price will a lot higher for everyone.
BUT, I guess you think that would be fair since it's the same for locals and non-locals.
(but then again, locals would lose their comp)
