I haven't had anthing to do with coins in many years. My faulty reasing goes as follows. I figured silver was $20 a oz. I figure a silver dollar was an ounce (probably wrong). coins I thought were 90% silver . However the fact they're coins would add something. So presto a silver dollar is $20. a quater for instance is 1/4 ounce (probably wrong again), a dime is 1/10 ouncce etc.
Obviously I am completely wrong on my estimate.
Is there a times face price for common coins (quarters and dimes)
