Before I left, Al Scalzo mentioned there were a "bunch" of classic car slot cards at Nevada Palace. I made a point to get there early and got a Thunderbird in my name and found a Bel Air while harvesting. The O'Neals said these are the only two types they know of and that their issuing had something to do with a car giveaway last year. New York, New York also had another new slot card, as shown, and the Gold Coast finally retired those old yellow cards for a new blue card that has replaced all the old ones. I asked if the blue versions would have a "Millionaire" level version, and their sources ruled that out, at least for now. The Gold Coast card has an interesting error they told me about. You can see the insertion arrows and the key chain hole are both on the same side. Well, the manufacturer put the arrow on the wrong side -- to use the card you have to put the side without the arrows in!
I hope these little words and pictures will be entertaining and/or informative to somebody out there. I have duplicates of some of these (not the Millionaire cards!). If you would like to trade, drop me an e-mail. Best, Jerry
