I liken it to playing craps. Most of the times I play the PASS line (collector). Sometimes, however, I'm with the house and play DON'T PASS (dealer). When I'm on the PASS line, I hoot and root like everyone else to hit numbers and make the point. When I play with the house, I take my winnings and keep my mouth shut. Obviously I'm hoping for a craps or a seven out. Protocol, however, dictates that I should not make my wishes public.
For Chuck to hope that Bennie "makes a bunch" is, I think, bad form. If "making a bunch" were not at a collectors expense, I wouldn't care. Its just that for someone to "make a bunch" pretty well implies someone will "lose a bunch". With these manufactured rarities, I think this will be the case.
