"Pink House". Do they still serve those fantastic dinners there? I hope so, they were GREAT! Also I see you were there during the fall. That was always my favorite time of year there. During the summer they have a "Candy Dance" there in Genoa which is a lot of fun, worth going out of your way for. BTW, Genoa is the oldest settlement in Nevada, first known as Mormon Station then changed to Genoa when the Mormons were recalled to Salt Lake City.
I always wondered what those bars would look like without 200+ years of grime, dirt, dust, cob-webs, smoke on everything. BUT--that is their charm, I guess. Was always a fun place to go, and Carson Valley has the most beautiful falls anywhere. Those cottonwoods really shine during the fall.
