The $40 for $20 is in an area by the front door. You have your choice of 2 dozen single line reel machines. The main idea was that you lines up 3 jackpot symbols on the main line and you won cashola....It used to be a good deal, although you never won (in 10 trips, have NEVER seen anyone hit any money) the Riv used to have a decent selection of "consolation prizes". The big black shoulder bag that I carry everywhere in Vegas came with a fanny pack and was one of the possible prizes (very well made and easily worth $20). Other prizes were suitcases, denim jackets, polo shirts, watches, jewelry, etc. Sadly, the last 2 trips to the Riviera the prize selection has hit rock bottom. Too bad, Darrell liked doing this, but even he can't find a prize that he wants.
