Once again, the post office's automatic machinery gets tripped up when there is an odd-shpaed item in an ordinary paper envelope. Imagine taping a chip to a piece of paper and trying to run that piece of paper through your computer's printer. It needs special packaging, special handling, or both.
Possible solutions of varying costs have been discussed here previously. It would sure be nice if everyone was on board with that concept!
