Greg's informal poll is certainly a good interim step though, Archie. It tells us if it's even worth persuing further. I would think a petition showing xxx number of members as favoring a change would be more likely to gain the attention of the club officers than a letter from one person. I understand it wouldn't be easy, and could not be accomplished in less than a couple of years.
