I told you recently about "Pit 8" at Palace Station, an Asian table games area that offers tableside dining. Well, the Chinese New Year is upon us -- the Year of the Rat -- so the casino is offering entertainment from local dragon dancers on Feb. 9 beginning at 6:15 p.m. The dancers will perform throughout the casino floor and finish in Sound Trax, a 175-seat entertainment venue and lounge, where they will perform in a two-hour show. The show will feature traditional folk dancing, acrobats, magic and singing in Chinese and English.

By the way, if you are playing at "Pit 8" here's what's on the tableside menu: special Vietnamese rice noodle soup; wonton noodle soup; roast duck noodle soup; seafood noodle soup; beef noodle soup; beef chow fun; yang chow fried rice; Singapore pan fried rice noodles; chicken congee; mixed beef congee; and bee bim bop, a Korean dish featuring rice topped with meat, eggs and vegetables that is served with a spicy sauce. Not bad, huh?
