Re: Should the Buyer pay for Postal Insurance?

Marv,

The answer to your question as to how to protect yourself from getting stiffed when dealing with some distant buyer or seller is to limit your transactions to people with a high degree of personal integrity and ethics - such as members in good standing of CC>CC! CC>CC members are buyers, sellers, and traders so the risk of damaging their reputation and thus ending their enjoyment of this hobby would be too much to bear.

I have been buying, selling, and trading primarily with CC>CC members for over 7 years and I've never had a problem with any transaction. During that time, I've also dealt with a few non-members and I haven't had any trouble their either, but I know I'm taking more risk than I would with a fellow member.
