>>Bob; I've been given lots of email advice from other folks who post regularly on this bb that I should simply ignore your posts .... and I've been trying real hard to do that... except for when you publicly address your posts to (or at) me. Perhaps, you have not gotten that message yet.<<
I've received email from YOU suggesting that we both ignore eachother's posts, and got to see a post from you to me two days later stating I had my head up my sphincter on this BB. I'm not the one who didn't get the message.
You jumped into this thread by yourself with no post directed to or at you by me. I started the thread as a discussion of the possible downsides of collecting roulette chips. This subject was not being discussed during the flurry of BB posts about a roulette run during the convention this summmer. Your entry into the thread scoffed at people who have a problem with taking roulette chips without permission.

>>Bob, I don't need your Johnny-One-Note sermons. We've all heard it over and over again. We all know your position on the roulette subject. Save that stuff for the congregation out in Colorado where they have no roulette games. Meanwhile, for the benefit of any newcomers, whom you are trying to save from the evil people in this hobby, I do confess to being a roulette harvester.<<
You've heard it over and over again. New collectors have not. My opinions are not sermons. I'm providing new collectors with information to based their personal collecting decisions on.

>>I confess that I share my booty among other harvesters by sharing and trading 14 chips of each stack I harvest among them. I confess that one chip of the 20 harvested goes into my personal collection. I confess that I sell the remaining five chips for $3-$4 each. I confess that I am a sinner. If that makes me "greedy" in the eyes of Reverend Orme, then so be it. But I'm not looking for YOUR forgiveness or absolution Reverend Orme. I'll stand in judgement before the majority of those on this bb and before the more than 100 customers of my Atlantic City New Issues Service.<<
Thank you for admitting that your "harvesting" isn't only to preserve gaming history. That's all I really wanted. Your placing the label of being a "Reverend" in front of my name was expected. Right and wrong can be defined, but those writing the definitions are almost always attacked by someone wishing to redefine wrong because they are engaged in the activity.

>>I don't recall that we were ever partners in MY chip business Reverend.... so if you don't mind, I would sincerely appreciate it if you would keep your nose out of MY business .... and I'll keep my nose out of yours.<<
My books are open to total scrutiny. If a business involves questionable practices, it becomes the business of not only every customer, but also potential new customers, hense my advice to new collectors.

>>I hope I've made myself perfectly clear on that point Reverend Orme. Hell, I'll even conceed that you've made some very valid points. However, you've made them all before, Reverend. The problem is that you seem to relish in recycling old-hat sermons over and over again. THAT, dear Reverend ... is the reason why I choose to ignore you....<<
Mock me all you want Archie, but, as you put it, "old-hat sermons" won't come from your corner. Truth is a precious commodity these days. That sucks!
