A friend sent me (and everyone else in her address book) a warning about the "love bug" virus yesterday afternoon. She received the virus from another friend earlier in the day. Being the computer newbie she is & coupled with all the news about the virus, she thought she might have inadvertantly passed it on somehow, hence the warning.

She didn't. She did pass the virus "Wscript.KakWorm", which happened to be on her 'puter, along to everyone she sent the warning message to though<g>. Norton Antivirus took care of it in short order.
