I have 12 grandkids . For their birthdays ,Christmas I give them antiques and collectibles . Got the four youngest collecting marbles . Got them the latest books on the subject and put together a starter collection for each of them . The new generation has to much going on around them with all the high tech stuff I think its up to the parents ,grandparents, to slow them down a little and let them smell the air. Once introduced to collecting its easy for them to use this high tech stuff to further thier interest. My 8-11 year olds are already teaching me more about marbles than I knew . Pay attention to the young ones and they will pay attention to you . High tech smart and common sense dumb kids are not going to do well.
