I grew up in Chicago...my father owned a "tuck-pointing" business. If you don't know what that is, it is a business that repairs brick, stone & cement building fascias that have been damaged by the elements or other factors, including poor workmanship. Much of his work derived from pieces of brick, masonry or concrete dislodging and becoming a REAL public hazzard...I'd rather have a piece of styrofoam bonk me in the head than a brick !! And the stuff used on these current mega-resorts is certainly much better (stronger, safer and less flammable) than the product installed on Monte Carlo exterior ten years ago.
So there is some progress...and wouldn't Vegas be a much more boring place if these hotel /casinos all looked like the Polo Towers??
