While Steve Cutler did operate the Casino Legends Hall of Fame Museum at the Tropicana, the museum did NOT sell anything. However, just outside the museum there was a giftshop, and for a brief period of time, Steve was a co-owner of the giftshop (with two others). Because of their close proximity (the museum and shop), and for the fact that entry into the museum was managed by the shop employees and the museum's exit dumped you into the shop, it was very easy to assume that both operations belonged to Steve. But that was not the case.

I believe that it was his adversity to products like these chips that had a factor in his discontinuance of co-ownership in the giftshop, and while it was possible that this set of chips were sold during the short period of time that Steve was directly involved with the shop, I am pretty certain that Steve was not involved with the ordering of these chips through the Gamblers General Store.

As another qualifer here, at a certain point in time, the Casino Legends Hall of Fame Museum (Steve's museum) left the Tropicana and the giftshop remained. The giftshop owners did set-up their own museum in the same space that was vacated by Steve at which point the eBay sellers claims of origin could be construed as being true.

So, the hairs that I am splitting are:

• This statement: "They were sold at Steve Cutler's museum at the Trop" is not true.

• This statement: "Fantasy chips, made for the museum by Gamblers General" is only valid if made after Steve's Casino Legends Hall of Fame Museum left the Tropicana property.

As for the eBay sellers claims, the word "blight" comes to mind!
