Don, I am not going to debate the differences between the parties.
IMO there is no differences. Neither party is looking out for you or for me. They are just working against us, in different ways. They are serving whoever donates the most to them.
The Dem's TAX and spend and waste $. The Rep's are just spending and wasting $.
Both plans will kill our economy.

I think using the word dishonest in my original post was a very generous word for all of them.
I do not believe that the average American has any voice in out country's affairs.

I know your next question is "what is better?" I don't have the answer to that either.

Next, someone will bring up Global Warming in this thread.
Here is my say so on that.

Our World is moving on and Al Gore can not stop it. Our World has been moving on for 4 1/2 Billion years. Our World has destroyed most of the earths life forms a number of times. The Axis of the earth has moved ever so slighty. How can Al Gore fix that?

That said, if Al's work makes us get off our foreign oil habit, he will have done a good thing.

If we get off that habit, our politians will see to it that whatever we use will cost as much or more than the gasoline costs us.

I think both of us are better off living today than we will be if we lived in the next 100 years.
